ingredients:
1/2 Cup Lard (yes lard, makes a flakier biscuit)
3 Cups Self Rising Flour
pinch of sugar
Melted butter
Buttermilk
Directions:
Cut lard into flour and add the pinch of sugar. Add enough milk to create a soft dough and knead till swish (do not over knead as this may lend a troublesome biscuit). With floured hands pinch off alittle of the dough and roll into a ball, gently flatten during a lubricated iron frypan or pan. Bake during a preheated 425 degree kitchen appliance for 15-18 minutes. Brush with liquid butter once aloof from the kitchen appliance.
