Fudge Balls

Fudge Balls (makes approx. 14 pieces)

2 T. butter, not margarine
1 T. half & half
1, 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 C. semisweet chocolate chips
1 T. cocoa powder
powdered sugar or sprinkles for rolling in

Add the butter, half & half and condensed milk to a pot and cook over medium heat till it just begins to boil. Whisk the mixture to prevent burning during this time. Once it has started to boil remove from the heat and whisk in the chocolate chips and cocoa powder. Place back on the heat and turn it down to low. Continue whisking for 14 minutes until it is a thickened fudgy batter. Pour into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Place in the fridge to cool completely and set, about 3 1/2 hours. Using a tablespoon, portion out the fudge and roll into balls. Roll in powdered sugar or sprinkles and keep in the fridge till ready to serve.
