Ingredients:
1¼ cups self-raising flour
30 g butter, chopped
⅓ cup golden syrup
⅓ cup milk
Sauce
30 g butter
½ cup golden syrup
¾ cup brown sugar
1½ cups water

Method:
1. Scrub butter with slowly into flour.
2. Then add golden syrup, milk and stir until just combined.
3. wrap the mixture in the form of balls and drop into simmering sauce.
4. Cover and cook for 25 minutes.
5. Sauce: Heat all ingredients in a saucepan until sugar has dissolved.
6. Bring to boil, reduce heat to a simmer.
7. Dumplings should be puffed and golden when cooked.
