Asparagus and Chicken Stir Fry

1 lb. chicken tenders, cubed
1 bunch asparagus, woody ends trimmed, cut into 1 1/2" pieces
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp. my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper...combine and store in an airtight container)
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/3 C. soy sauce
2 T. oyster sauce
1 tsp. honey
1 tsp. cornstarch
2 T. butter

Place the chicken in a bowl and toss with the house seasoning and ginger, set aside. Whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey and cornstarch, set aside. Heat 1 T. butter over med. high heat, add the asparagus and onion and cook till crisp tender, about 4-5 minutes, stirring often. Remove the mixture to a plate. Melt the remaining butter in the skillet and add the chicken, cook through about 7-8 minutes. Add the asparagus mixture back to the skillet and toss to combine. Pour in the sauce and cook for about 1 minute till thickened and everything is coated well. Serve over hot rice.
